My daughter needed a decent computer as my old one was not meeting her needs (never met my needs either). She only needs a computer for email, games and internet at this point, and this fits the bill for a good price. The lack of a CD drive is a minor annoyance, but for the weight and space savings I can transfer files to a thumb drive for her. The screen is small, but it doesn’t bother her.

This unit has surpassed every hope that I had for it. It is a full featured (minus DVD) comupter. Full sized keyboard with a great touch. I traded a 15 pound “portable” for 2.5 pounds. Love it!!!!!

Amazon shipped me this computer very quickly. I have had this computer already for a few weeks and I must say I am quite pleased. I love that this netbook is small, lightweight, and performs very quickly. I chose this one because it has XP on it and prefer XP over Vista. It is so nice to have this small netbook rather than lugging around my 15″ heavier laptop. Very very pleased with computer. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get a netbook. For portability and quick access to the internet the netbook is the way to go. I highly suggest this netbook.

I can’t say enough about how good this little netbook is. I have found nothing to complain about. It has been on for two months now and has no problems at all. The wifi card is excellent. It picks up signals that my full sized laptop can’t.

” i have had my acer aspire one for just about a year and i must say that i am very happy with it. i use it in school for taking notes and it is nice because it doesnt take up much room on the table. I do with that the speakers were a little bit louder but they are good enough for sitting in the student lounge doing homework. also there are some issues i have with the standby but its nothing i cant deal with. the internet is pretty quick considering its size but facebook, netflix, and my schools websites come in fast and allow me to get my work done quickly. all in all this has been a nice dependable little laptop that lets me study and socialize all at the same time. “
