I added a 2 GB memory upgrade, I put MS Office on it, I bought the matching Toshiba external DVD, and I was running anti-virus software on it. I am dealing with exactly the same as my VAIO, and so far it works perfectly without tents ot slow. It 'so light and easily transportable, and the battery lasts a long time, even after watching 2 DVDs. Go to Toshiba website and download the new audio driver, which increases the volume tad. Speakers are not great, but certainly enough to watch a movie or listen to music in a tranquil environment. I begin to hope my daughter continues to come in our bed at night, so I can continue to use this netbook!

I turned over, saying that as a result. "Lamp contains mercury. Dispose of in accordance with applicable local and national." As we all know, has brought them contain mercury, CCFL do. I had my Samsung N110 about a month and I can say without doubt is one of the best pieces of electronic equipment I have ever bought. I had never upgraded 2GB of RAM, and with this I had a problem with the processing power. It looks nice and slick, despite the often quoted "magnetic fingerprint" of the cylinder. It was surprisingly easy to overcome. The only complaint I would have is that some streaming video on the Internet as Hulu can be a little 'uncomfortable (Youtube is fine) if I would chalk up more to the fact that this is a netbook with limited graphics capabilities. To watch the video that has been stored on the hard drive, I have not had any problems.

The Samsung N110 is my first netbook. I use a Dell laptop at work and a Mac laptop at home. I can not believe how well this little computer. I started thinking that I would use at home for Internet and e-mail. Well they are so small and light I take it to work and let the Dell in the docking station. I installed Office Outlook 2007 and now for my e-mail. I used this week for a PowerPoint presentation to show work on a client and was really happy with how the external video looked good when connected to a video projector. Why lug around Dell more than twice the weight and three times the size? This little man is a true bargain. I have not the power adapter for business meeting, as I had a full load and only needed for two hours. This is my new laptop for business trips. Our IT people are thinking the same way and trying to give people a desktop and netbook and not a laptop. It costs less and give us a smaller unit to travel with.

My daughter needed a decent computer as my old one was not meeting her needs (never met my needs either). She only needs a computer for email, games and internet at this point, and this fits the bill for a good price. The lack of a CD drive is a minor annoyance, but for the weight and space savings I can transfer files to a thumb drive for her. The screen is small, but it doesn’t bother her.
